One of the newer blogging platforms is Ghost (https://ghost.org) – a JavaScript / NodeJS based blogging platform. With the release of version 6.0 a few months ago, it’s more versatile and has a sleek admin interface. It seems very promising so far and before you compare it to WordPress I would like to point out that ghost’s sole purpose is for online article writing / publishing – that is, blogging itself. Over the years, WordPress has diversified and ventured into a large-scale global CMS system where one hopes to build any kind of site using it – be it real-estate listings, job portal, full-fledged marketing platform or a social networking sit – not just plain article publishing (blogging) site.
Ghost has a cool membership feature which is available natively, not as a additional plugin to be installed. It has the option to project articles to free or even paid members of your site like an offline magazine for purchase.
If you’re someone to launch a newsletter-style news website, feel free to contact us to enable us to help you install anf configure Ghost for your business needs.
